Midsized ISO certified machine shop on the North Shore was struggling with their existing IT service provider and the network was in complete disarray including unsupported operating systems, legacy hardware and an email platform which wasn’t meeting the needs of the employees. Managed Tech Services did a complete analysis of their current environment. The findings were shared with the executive team and a transformation plan was put together to replace the infrastructure with a complete Hybrid-Cloud solution offered by Managed Tech Services featuring Office 365 and Windows 2012R2 Servers. The core infrastructure was upgraded with new infrastructure cabling, Gigabit switches, routers and a new high speed fiber optic internet provider. Upon project completion the customer was introduced to the MTS Concierge Support Plan to proactively monitor and resolve issues before they become a problem and incur a downtime.


A leading distributor and servicer of Fire Alarm systems was experiencing tremendous year over year growth and was quickly outgrowing its current IT system and its physical office space. The distributor was planning of relocating to new office location and required assistance with relocation of infrastructure and building out its network. Managed Tech Services delivered a detailed project plan including structured cabling, relocation of servers, and introducing additional servers and cloud based Office 365 email migration. The customer understanding the value of maintenance wanted a proactive solution. MTS worked with the client to custom design an MTS support plan which fit in with the needs of the organization and its end-users.


Local business and authorized distributor of sewing and embroidery machines in Beverly was rapidly growing and expanding into a second store location. The customer needed the ability to link the Point of Sale (POS) systems to a centralized database for reporting and management functionality. Along with sales of merchandise the store offers classes’ and required public internet accessibility for its student’s access. Managed Tech Services and the store owner worked together on a project plan and upon recommendation the required hardware and software was implemented within the stores. One of the additional requirements for the customer was the ability to remotely connect to store and perform necessary back-office functions within their accounting and POS systems; this feature was incorporated within the solution provided and allowed simplified remote accessibility with no additional software or costs.


Certified Public Accounting firm on the North Shore was searching for IT service provider which could provide ongoing technical support and hardware refresh to their office. Managed Tech Services put the customer at ease and provided a complete package including new hardware and simplified backup solution. Additionally the owner was looking for a solution to distribute its completed client tax returns electronically for users that chose it over paper versions. Utilizing Office 365 a solution was designed to encrypt the document and distribute a link to the end user to safely retrieve the file from a portal. Upon implementation Managed Tech Services set up the customer with the Concierge support plan to proactively monitor and maintain the newly upgraded hardware.
